The CVMTA is united in promoting music and musicianship through mutual cooperation.

The advancement of musical knowledge and education through workshops
Increasing community awareness through regular student recitals
Promoting excellence in performance through festivals
Broadening student experiences with scholarships and bursaries to music camps and post-secondary music education
