About Us

The Creston Valley Music Teachers’ Association is a non-profit organization, composed of a team of dedicated teachers and volunteers.

Our Mission

The CVMTA is united in promoting music and musicianship through mutual cooperation. 

How do we do this?

Through our mission goals:

  • The advancement of musical knowledge and education through workshops

  • Increasing community awareness through regular student recitals

  • Promoting excellence in performance through festivals

  • Broadening student experiences with scholarships and bursaries to music camps and post-secondary music education
