What is her role in CVMTA?

Hannah is the Creston Valley Music Teachers’ Association’s Secretary and Marketing Specialist. She also volunteers on the Festival of the Arts Committee, and supports fellow CVMTA members with group events such as recitals, Focus on Youth, and the CVMTA’s annual Teachers’ “Tapestry” Concert.

What does she teach?

Hannah teaches piano, ukulele, music theory and Music for Young Children classes.

About?

Hannah Ryckman started teaching in 2013 with the hope of sharing the love of music with others. That love has never faded, and it's Hannah’s goal to continue to teach music in ways that are fun, engaging, and best suited to the individual student.

Hannah currently teaches private piano and music theory lessons, ukulele private and group lessons, and also provides Music for Young Children classes to the wider Creston community.

Hannah has her Grade 9 Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exam certificate, her Advanced and Harmony I theory RCM certificates, and Music History: Part I RCM certificate. She also recently graduated her Level 1: Music for Young Children training program as of Summer 2023.
